Wait! How much? Let’s talk about ticket prices

Concert ticket prices are reaching record highs, sparking controversy among fans and industry professionals alike. What’s driving this surge? From production and logistics costs to rising artist demands and the market domination by major players – this panel aims to pinpoint the key contributors to ballooning ticket prices.

We will examine the economics of concert organization from the perspective of artists, promoters, and audiences. Is there any way to curb the upward price spiral? How are skyrocketing prices reshaping the music ecosystem – from stadium tours by megastars to the survival of small independent bands? And in an era of inflation and market consolidation, is there still room for young artists to tour? What strategies can help preserve diversity on the live music scene?

Moderator: Līva Pētersone-Kļaviņa (Music Latvia). Speakers: Magdalena Grotek (Eventim), Edyta Rogowska-Żak (Duxius), Áron Farkas (TicketSwap), Anthony Jouet (Fource Entertainment), Yannick Corbeau (CM.com).

Polish History Museum / Conference room 2. Saturday, 28 June, 11:30 AM.

This panel discussion is brought to you in collaboration with Eventim – our ticketing partner, who is celebrating 20 years of operations in Poland in 2025.
