Luiza is the Policy Adviser at Culture Action Europe, a cultural network that brings together 280 cultural organisations across Europe. She focuses on topics such as EU funding for culture, working conditions of artists, and artistic freedom in the European Union’s policy context.
Luiza previously worked at the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Centre for Cultural Research. As a policy analyst, she has helped introduce the concept of creative industries to the governmental agenda in Ukraine and establish the sector’s analytical and statistical framework. She has also worked on European integration in culture and completed a traineeship at the European Commission.
Luiza is interested in the philosophy of culture, artistic freedom, and cultural analytics.
