Aga Samitowska is a professional with extensive experience in the music and MusicTech industries, focused on bridging technology — including artificial intelligence — with the music business. She leads ZAiKS Akademia, an educational platform raising awareness about copyright, as well as ZAiKS Lab, an innovative research and development initiative under ZAiKS, the largest collective management organization for copyright in Poland.

Aga is also the founder of Fenomen Lab, her independent consulting firm, and a co-founder of MusicTech Poland, where she helps build the MusicTech community in Poland. She is a regular speaker, moderator, and mentor at conferences, often addressing topics such as artificial intelligence and its impact on the music industry.

Throughout her career, she has taken part in numerous prestigious events, with recent highlights including the „Music and Democracy” panel at Igrzyska Wolności in Łódź and „The Growing Synergy Between the Music Industry and Startups: Opportunities, Licensing, and Challenges” at Slush in Helsinki.

Aga’s career in the music industry spans over a decade at Kayax, a leading independent record label and management agency based in Warsaw. As Head of Digital Distribution, she was responsible for negotiating key deals with aggregators and digital platforms. She also managed the careers of acclaimed artists such as Brodka and the legendary polish rock band Hey.
