The driving force behind Music Week Poland

ZAiKS. Inspiring imagination

Since 1918, we have been building a world that values culture, creativity and imagination

We are the largest collective copyright management organisation in Poland. We have over 100 years of experience, knowledge and tools. Every year we transfer to creators millions of zlotys of remuneration due to them. We bring together composers, lyricists, screenwriters, playwrights, translators, visual artists, choreographers and creators of other arts, as well as music publishers. As a society, we carry out wide-ranging social activities for the benefit of our members. We are also one of the largest patrons of art and culture in Poland.

In order to provide authors with remuneration for the use of their works:

  • Permission is granted on behalf of the creator for the use of their works. We call this licensing.
  • Remuneration is collected from companies, institutions and individuals who use the works in their activities. We call this royalty collection.
  • Copyright remunerations collected in this way, called royalties, are divided as appropriate and paid out. We call this distribution.

Culture Hub Poland

Culture Hub Poland (CHP) is the next step in the evolution of Music Export Poland—now transformed into a national centre dedicated to strengthening the creative and cultural sectors in Poland. Building on years of experience in music export, CHP expands its focus to support the wider ecosystem of artists, cultural professionals, and creative initiatives.

As a creative hub, CHP operates as a platform for collaboration, advocacy, and innovation. It connects individuals, organisations, and communities across the cultural field—encouraging exchange, supporting development, and amplifying the voices of those shaping contemporary culture.

CHP is active both nationally and internationally. It leads strategic programmes such as Music Week Poland, coordinates sector-wide initiatives like One Voice for European Music, and fosters cooperation through networks including EMEE, ICORN, and Keychange. Whether through research, training, or public dialogue, CHP works to ensure that Polish creativity is visible, valued, and well-supported—at home and abroad.

Its activities span:

  • Cross-sector programmes that nurture talent and professional growth.
  • A dedicated observatory to research and map the cultural and creative landscape.
  • Innovative learning formats tailored to the sector’s dynamic needs.
  • Initiatives that position culture as a driver of social change and sustainable development.

Culture Hub Poland is more than an institution—it’s a meeting point. A place where ideas are exchanged, connections are made, and culture is recognised as a vital force for the future.
