This opening session will welcome participants and guests with reflections on Poland’s leadership during its presidency of the One Voice for European Music project — a collaborative European initiative aimed at strengthening the music sector through shared vision and coordinated action.
We will look back on the achievements of the past year: deeper dialogue between institutions and grassroots actors, new networks for cooperation, and bold steps toward more sustainable and inclusive policies for music in Europe.
But this is only the beginning. The opening will also present a future-facing vision: how we can continue to build momentum, elevate music’s role in European cultural policy, and ensure that our collective voice — diverse, dynamic, and united — continues to shape the Europe we want to live in.
