Founded in Kyiv in 2017, originally a five-member group, Pororoka’s lineup and sound changed drastically after the start of the full-scale war, when three members joined the Ukrainian Army. Now the band combines ethno instruments with modern technologies to craft a new sonic identity. Their art explores themes of life and death, fate, and love, grounded in Ukrainian folk and global influences.
