French pianist David Tixier and Croatian drummer Lada Obradovic have developed a mesmerizing and shamanic sound by blending acoustic and electronic instruments, Moog, Fender Rhodes, glockenspiel, mbira and other playthings. They are known for their live performances, where, as we’re told, ”David’s sophisticated harmonies and lyrical drama interweave with Lada’s polyrhythms.”
