This Polish quintet seeks inspiration in the 11th century Nordic poetry (hence the name, meaning Here in Icelandic), yet their music touches hearts and souls of modern listeners, lost in the 21st century chaos. Melancholic and mesmerically deliberate, the band’s music flows through folk, electronic and alternative sounds. And although HÉR consists of great jazz musicians known for their work in other bands, this is a venture that stands on its own.
